シカゴのトリオの２作目は、デヴィッド・ボウイなら“完全にバンバン”と言うであろう、きらびやかなグラム・ロックの、強烈な爆風だ。自宅録音による2009年のデビュー作には汚らしい60年代風のガレージが満載だったが、スタジオ録音となる本作ではすべてがリヴァーブとエコーに浸され、あたかもフロントマンのカレン・オオモリが、火星の舞踏会場から酔っ払いのロマンスを運んできたかのようである。
