　トルコ出身のプロデューサー、アリフ・マーディンはアトランティック・レコーズで、アレサ・フランクリンやビージーズ、ウィリー・ネルソンのために仕事をしてきた。遺作となった本作品（2006年に他界した後、彼の息子ジョーの手で完成した）。曲と曲とを繋ぐその手腕に息を呑む。「produced by Arif Mardin」。そのクレジットは、これからも変わることのない最上級品の証。
