ブルックリンのラッパー兼プロデューサーであるエル・Pと、アトランタのキラー・マイクは、“Run the Jewels”としては2枚目となる本作で、2014年いちばん弾けたヒップホップを生み出した。特に犯罪者の心理に鋭く焦点を当てた曲がいい。「Close Your Eyes（And Count to Fuck）」は刑務所での暴動を歌った曲。「All Due Respect」は、マイクが自分の生い立ちについて語っているかのようだ。“銃とピット・ブル・テリアとともに取り残された／親父の書き置きには神のお導きをとあった”。ののしり言葉の裏には傷ついた心が潜んでいるという証だ。
